Ingredients:

round steak -- trimmed
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 can sliced mushroom -- drained
1/2 package dry onion soup mix
seasonings such as worcestershire, garlic, onion powder,
salt and pepper

Directions:
  1. Trim round steak (approx 1 pound) of any visible fat. Brown in a skillet in a little canola or olive oil. Spray liner of crockpot and add steak, then soup, mushrooms, dry onion soup mix and seasonings. Cook on low all day.

  2. NOTE: If you have more round steak, just use 2 cans of soup, 2 cans of mushrooms and a full packet of onion soup mix.

  3. Stacy's Notes - Made Nov 2003. Pretty good. Steak got very tender after about 6-7 hours, so I shredded it into thin strips. Served over chunky mashed potatoes (lots of gravy from soup), with another veggie on the side. Good comfort food.
