A favorite to make at the holidays, along with my mom's Pecan Pie :)

Ingredients:

1 - 9 inch pie shell -- unbaked
1 1/2 cups sugar
3 tablespoons cocoa
1/4 cup butter or margarine -- melted
2 eggs -- slightly beaten
1/8 teaspoon salt
1 - 5.33 oz can evaporated milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 cup chopped pecans (1/2 to 3/4 cup) -- optional

Directions:
  1. Prepare unbaked pie shell. Mix sugar, cocoa and butter. Stir well. Add eggs and beat with electric mixer for 2 1/2 minutes. Add salt, milk and vanilla. Stir in pecans, if desired. Pour filling into pie shell and bake at 350ยบ for 35-45 minutes. Serves 6-8

My recipe is almost exactly like this one....mine had a whole stick of butter and no salt. I did use the salt & went in between 1/4 & 1/2 cup of butter. I've never added pecans. A good pie!
