Menu Plan – March 10-16, 2019

Hey y’all!  Here’s the tentative plan for the meals next week.  I will head back to the store next Wed or Thursday, after the Kroger ad is released, and the latter part of the week may change.  Hope you get some ideas, we are still keeping it fairly simple here these days!

The plan this week includes:

Sunday – Leftovers / Breakfast Food

Monday – grilling out!  Steak for Tim and probably salmon for me, salad and potato, we are celebrating!

Tuesday – Taco Tuesday of some sort.  I’ll either do beef or shrimp tostadas, or I may attempt the crunchwraps again, since I bought larger burrito size tortillas and also the tostada shells.  Rice or beans, and guacamole with chips and salsa on the side.

Wednesday – easy homemade chicken pot pie. I have some cooked chicken in the freezer. I will either make the easy pot pie recipe my mom taught me (self rising flour for a crust that rises, meat, cream of chicken and hard boiled eggs), or one with pie crusts I still have in the freezer. I would add carrots and mushrooms, but Tim really prefers the easy one with hard boiled eggs, go figure!  Salad and probably Texas Toast from the freezer, or crescent rolls.

Thursday – Leftovers

Friday – Baked Cod or probably the package of SeaPack battered shrimp I bought at Kroger, fries and maybe cole slaw or a salad on the side.

Saturday –  Pizza and a Movie 🙂
