Menu Plan for the week of September 2-8, 2018

Hey y’all!

Happy Labor Day to those of you in the US and Canada!  We’re so happy to have a long holiday weekend, filled with time together and lots of yummy food 🙂  We are starting off with some ribs for the big day, then I’m going to give Tim a break from the grill this week, and will be cooking inside for the rest of our meals. We are lucky to live in a climate where we can grill most every month out of the year 🙂  We will probably start grilling out a bit more now that football season is cranking up, plus we’ll be having more “football food” in the coming weeks. We’re ready!  LOL!

Here is this week’s menu:

Sunday –  Hot Dogs, chips and fruit

Monday – Ribs (Instant Pot, then finished on the grill), IP Potato Salad, baked beans for Tim (check out the video here on our YouTube channel about how we do all of this in the Instant Pot).

Tuesday – Taco Tuesday, just not sure yet what form it will take (hard tacos, soft tacos, taco salad, enchiladas, etc)

Wednesday – Crockpot Ranch Pork Chops, veggie & salad (this is a rollover from last week, since I was taken out to eat for a surprise date night!)

Thursday – Leftovers

Friday – General Tso’s chicken, rice, egg rolls or steamed dumplings

Saturday – Eat Out / Leftovers/ Cheeseburger Wraps as a plan B

I will continue to try to post weekly menus here, along with any extra info and links to recipes.  Hopefully, we can build a great database of resources for meal planning, menu ideas, recipes for meals, dessert & sweet recipes, Instant Pot meals, and a host of other food-related resources, both here, and on our YouTube channel.
