Moving/Labor Day

Trent writes "Our holiday was spent packing and loading and cleaning. We moved out of the apartment yesterday. We're closing on the 14th on 6418 Winter Stone, Houston, 77084. SK said she like unloading much better than loading; I told her that was good because she was going to get to do it again when we move everything to the new place on the 18th.

The Move, Part 2

Suzanne writes "Today is Sunday, 8-8 and I am finally in Central Time Zone for sure. We flew
in to Chicago on Saturday, Pearl the cat, my responsibility, Cher the
"therapy" dog, Pam's responsiblity.
Pearl is very vocal anyway and she was on the plane. I watched Shrek 2 which
I hope others did too, then you couldn't hear her holler.
Today we met our Realtor at 1:30 at the new house, to get the keys. The lady
and her FIVE kids had moved everything out. Still is a nice house and we
like it, lots of big windows so lots of light.
(Elizabeth Barger might not like that).
But we do, and trees in the backyard, with a Protected Forest Preserve so no
one will ever build behind us. Very nice.
The Realtor gave us a $75 gift certificate to Whole Foods Market, a nice,
health-related grocery store. For Stacy, there's also a Trader Joe's about 7
miles from the house.

The Move

Anonymous writes "It is Thursday night and we are surrounded by boxes. Boxes, boxes and more boxes.
After two days of packing, the movers come back at 8 a.m. Friday morning to start loading. The last thing on the truck is the Ford Explorer.
It is a 53 foot truck. Any bets on whether we will fill it up?
Everyone is invited to come see us at

Wauconda, IL 60084.

They movers expect to arrive this coming TUESDAy for delivery. A full three days ahead of the original estimate.

Anybody want to guess on when we will have the last box unpacked??
