Crack 3 eggs into a bowl, add one box of yellow cake mix, 1 cup water, 1/2 cup peanut butter, 1/3 cup softened butter. Stir until completely mixed. (Video showed using a whisk, but my butter was not totally soft, so I used a hand mixer. Also I whisked eggs before adding other stuff, even though the video did not show that).
Take 2/3 cup of the cake batter and put into a smaller bowl. Add Hershey's syrup and mix well.
Take a crockpot (video showed oval one and they didn't spray, but I used my 9x13 crockpot and I also sprayed with cooking spray all over really well) and add half of the remaining cake batter to the bottom, smooth out to the edges. Take the cake batter/syrup mixture and add and swirl around to the bottom layer. Then take the rest of the batter and cover the top with it. Video says to cook on high 4 hours, but most commenters said that was too long. So I cooked on high 1 1/2 to 2 hours. (I used a toothpick to test and by the time the middle was not doughy, the bottom and sides were getting overcooked)
After cake is cook, take another bowl and add 3 T peanut butter, 3 T milk and 1 cup powdered sugar; mix together well with a whisk. Pour this topping mixture on top of cooked cake and spread to the edges. Spread more Hershey's Syrup (from a squirt bottle) on top in a cute pattern. Top with chopped Reese's pb miniatures. Serve and enjoy!
