Oven Toasted Ravioli

Ingredients:

1 package frozen cheese ravioli, thawed
1 egg
1 tablespoon milk
6 tablespoons italian bread crumbs, or a bit more
2 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese, or a bit more
cooking spray
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

Whisk together egg and milk in shallow bowl. In another bowl or pie plate, combine bread crumbs and parmesan cheese. Dip ravioli in egg and then in bread crumbs. Place on baking sheet. Repeat until all ravioli are coated. Spray ravioli with cooking spray.

Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown. Serve with warm marinara or pesto.

Stacy's Notes: Made June 2013, turned out good! I used a package of small square cheese ravioli from Kroger, I think it was a 25 oz bag. I thawed them out, and then dipped them in the egg/milk mixture and then the breadcrumb/parmesan mixture. Laid them out on a foil lined (and sprayed) baking sheet. I misread the directions and cooked at 400 instead of 375, instead, for about 15 minutes. Served with some leftover spaghetti sauce, warmed up, to dip in, and a salad. Really good!
