Ingredients:

1 cup warm milk (70 to 80 degrees) (or a tad more)
1 egg
2 tablespoons butter, softened
1/4 cup dried minced onion
garlic powder (my addition, a couple of shakes)
2 tablespoons sugar
1-1/2 teaspoons salt
2 tablespoons dried parsley flakes (I used a tad less)
1 teaspoon dried oregano
3-1/2 cups bread flour
2 teaspoons active dry yeast
Directions:
In a bread machine pan, place all ingredients in order suggested by manufacturer. Select basic bread setting. Choose crust color and loaf size if available. Bake according to bread machine directions (check dough after 5 minutes of mixing; add 1 to 2 tablespoons water or flour if needed). Yield: 1 loaf (2 pounds).

Stacy's Notes: Made December 2012 to go with some potato soup - very good! I read through the notes and added a smidge more milk, and warmed in the microwave till warm to my finger. I used the full 1/4 cup minced onion and also added a couple of dashes of garlic powder. I'm not a big fan of dried parsley, so I added just shy of 2 teaspoons, about 1 3/4 or so. Also, used 3 cups regular white bread flour, and 1/2 cup King Arthur white whole wheat flour. Set my bread machine to basic, 2 pound loaf, medium crust. Very good bread, make again!
