Use a jelly roll pan and line it with cinnamon or regular flavored graham crackers. (Note: I lined the jelly roll pan with parchment paper first)
In a saucepan, melt the 2 sticks of butter and 1 cup of brown sugar. Bring to a boil over medium heat and boil 2 minutes. Then add 1 cup finely chopped pecans. Stir this up quickly and pour over graham crackers.
Bake at 300ยบ for 10 minutes, or until it bubbles and spreads out. Take out and cool. Break into squares or pieces
Stacy's Notes: I made these Christmas 2003. I used lowfat cinnamon graham crackers. I loved the taste of these, sort of like a toffee topping on crackers. The topping is very similar in taste to the top of the overnight sticky buns I make every year for Christmas morning.
