DVD - Serenity

We rented this movie over the New Years weekend. I had read several things about it, and knew that it was based on a short-lived TV series called Firefly and that it was an action/sci-fi movie. Other than that, I had no preconceived notions about it.

It started off really weird, but the plot really grew and it sucked us both in really quickly. We both really like sci-fi though, so this movie was right up our alley. (NOTE: Don't rent it if you don't enjoy sci-fi action movies!!) It had more humor than we expected and there were several spots that we both just broke out laughing! We both really enjoyed it this movie, and thought it was a great rental.

We rate this an 8 out of 10.
