Movie - Batman Begins

We saw “Batman Begins” yesterday at the theatre (using my free Blingo movie ticket I won!!), and both loved it. I have been reading some really good reviews lately, and I have to say that this movie lived up to them.

It was very dark and foreboding, with little lightheartedness or silly humor to make it more kid-friendly (like, say, Spiderman). But the film worked, the characters and actors were great (Christian Bale as Bruce Wayne, Michael Caine as his butler Alfred, and Morgan Freeman as his gadget guy), and we absolutely loved seeing the evolution of the Bat Cave, his Bat Suit, and my most favorite part of the movie – the ultra cool Bat Mobile. :)

In our opinion, this was a great movie, we loved it. In fact, we were discussing last night which summer blockbuster we thought was better – Batman Begins or Star Wars Episode III. Tough to pick, as we thought both were great movies. We’ll definitely buy “Batman Begins” when it comes out on DVD.
