We saw “The Longest Yard” at our local multi-screen theater recently, as part of a double feature (we also saw Mr. And Mrs. Smith the same day), and enjoyed it.
It’s an updated version of the classic football flick starring Burt Reynolds, who is also in the new movie. The language was a little rough at the beginning, but either we got used to it or it eased up a bit into the movie. It’s very true to its roots, and a good film if you like football or prison movies! :) Adam Sandler and Chris Rock were both good in it, as was a very old looking Burt Reynolds. It was funny, and we rate it about a 7.
P.S. As a side note, Tim had a great time pointing out all the pro athletes in this movie, he spotted lots of them!!!
