Book - The Street Lawyer by John Grisham

Yes, I'm way, way behind on reading John Grisham books. This is an older one of his books, but one we have in our "library" that I had not read. It was good. Typical Grisham, it grabbed me right away, was an easy read, and interesting plot. I enjoyed it immensely!

Basic plot - Michael Brock is a young, up and coming, attorney working for large corporate firm Drake and Sweeney in DC. He expects to make partner in a few years, and will be making about a million bucks a year soon after. He and his wife Claire have grown apart, and their marriage is strained. When the book opens, Michael is walking into work, and gets in the elevator with a black homeless man. The man gets off on the same floor as Michael, following him to the receptionist's desk. Once there, he pulls a gun and holds Michael and several lawyers hostage in a conference room.

You can read the book to get the rest, good plot!!
