the tough go shopping! Or at least that’s always been my motto. So, I thought I would get out of the house today and roam around the big Walmart, exciting huh! I had wanted to get some hostas to plant; they had a ton of them in there last week and now there were none of those, just some really big ones and I didn’t want those. I planted some last year and the year before and they came back but this year only one has grown back. 😥 I will have to look for them elsewhere or later.
On the bright side, they did have something that I just learned about and it definitely made me feel better!
I’ll put some pictures on the extended page of it and some other happies that I thought of to make me feel better today.
This is so, SO good! Half Baked, it’s chocolate & vanilla ice cream with fudge brownie and chocolate chip cookie dough mixed in, yum! I learned about it from Kathryn and Jeremy, and there is another flavor I had a while back that is really good too, Chocolate Therapy! How can you go wrong! I feel better already! It is a small container and I only had 3 spoons of it, not big ones so I think that was pretty good.
Last summer, Shanna and Trent told me about a Blue Bell flavor that I loved too; will have to find out from them again what it is.
Last week I got some new earrings and I’ve worn them a lot and decided that I really like them! I think I needed to get out of my rut of wearing silver hoops all the time, plus these are kinda fun.
I also bought a shirt, t-shirt top and a skirt but don’t have pics of those right now. Got some new sunglasses too, it’s the little things that are fun. Stacy is probably the only one interested anyway!
And I can’t plant hostas today but last week my pansies really started blooming up a storm. I think it was cooler and we had some rain so they did really well.
I also think it would be really fun to have some nice lounge chair to sit outside in and read, but alas, I don’t have one! Not sure it will fit on my patio but I would still like to have one to enjoy these beautiful spring days. And getting some fresh air and sunshine is nice too, although I would love to have an umbrella to go over my patio table as well! So, if anyone has any suggestions or places to look for a chair and umbrella, be sure to let me know. I guess that is you Stacy, because I’m not sure anyone else reads this!
Or maybe if they are too expensive, I should try to talk Don into a back porch swing again.

I read this…….don’t you have rockers on your front porch ?
I would, and did in Hattiesburg.
I would think a two person hammock on your porch would be great………or a table, 4 chairs w/an umbrella. Now you’re talking !!

You know I read all this! 🙂
Let’s see… shopping sounds fun, and I went yesterday too. No pictures of my stuff though 🙁
I’ve had several of Ben and Jerry’s icecream, and they are all good. Haven’t had these particular ones but I’m sure they are yummy. They used to have one that was chocolate and low-fat, but I haven’t found it lately.
Cute earrings! Tim and I bought new sunglasses a couple of weeks ago, nice to have them. Mine are polarized and have this little springey thing on the side so they won’t bend when I put them on, or on top of my head.
Your pansies still look really good. Mine are getting too hot and need to be watered. Will pull them up soon and plant other stuff. Did you look at Lowe’s for hostas? I think they would have them. Mine comes back up every year, I’m surprised yours didn’t.
Let’s see… table and chairs and umbrella. I would look at Target or online at Target.com, they have a ton. Home Depot and Lowe’s, obviously. We have this really nice place here, Madison Patio, but they are pretty pricey. Not sure where else to look…
