This weekend my daughter visited here with her two little ones; we squeezed in a visit to the local pumpkin farm/patch on Saturday morning. The weather was glorious, perfect for being outside. I think the kids had fun too! Pumpkins, animals, hayride, snacks; all pretty standard activities for the pumpkin patch I do believe………
The pumpkin man drove us down some dirt roads and through lots of sunflowers he had planted.
The little kids (and big kids) had fun picking out pumpkins!
After we looked at the animals and had snacks, Katelyn and Sam both played around on hay bales and old equipment set up for the kids
A perfect fall outing. This pumpkin patch was probably about 10 miles or so from our house; the man that drove us around said he had been doing this for over 15 years. I’ve lived here longer than that and had never heard of this place before! It’s kinda fun to be back in little kid mode!

We spent last weekend on hubby’s cousin’s farm making molasses. I’ll post photos of that soon but it was fun, fun, fun!

Oh these are just beautiful. Is there anything better than a drive with the family to the pumpkin patch?
Love it 🙂

Just look how big they are getting! What a lovely day for pumpkin fun.
Hey, good to hear from you. All is well with me. Still working on the right treatment/meds/even diagnosis at this point. I went for a second opinion yesterday and have since thrown out all the stuff I was told to take. Ugh.
Have a great week. It’s fun to be back visiting.

Gail, those are wonderful pictures! The little ones are so cute…and I especially love the one of your daughter and baby Sam…I hope she frames that one! (I have a similar one with my youngest when she was a baby!)
I posted about our two pumpkin patches, and then what we did following our time at the Roloff farm…we had wonderful weather too. Isn’t a sunny fall day just the best?
Hugs,
