The past month or two has been a busy sewing time for me. It seems like there were a lot of babies being born! I usually like to make burp cloths to give and sometimes the girls in the family hire me to do them so they have gifts to give as well. I’m happy to say that last week I think I finished up the last of what I needed to do, a HUGE relief to me!
Just boring sewing stuff with pictures on the extended page. 😆
Our baby Henry was the first out of this batch I did
One of the girls had 2 friends having baby girls, when we find a design we like we tend to make things the same!
I knew 2 people having baby boys so these were for them
For my new niece!
E’s friends were having a boy….she decided on something basketball related since the daddy is a coach! We were pleased with how the team thing worked out.
I also monogrammed fleece throws for graduation gifts
Whew, I’m glad that’s all done. I do however have some mending to do and just found a laundry bag that needs a monogram on it… I think I’m taking a few days off though and will work on it later! I’m good at the “later” stuff.

They look so professional! You should open a shop like Barb did.

“Just boring sewing stuff” — no way! Each one is cuter than the next! Great idea for graduates — the blankets and the laundry bag.

Wow…wish I had that talent! I can’t sew…I get really frustrated. I should have taken a class! Great work! Enjoy your summer!

I love those burp rags–especially the bright colored ones with the animals on them! What a treat to receive one of those as a gift. You have been a very busy girl!

Gail – Those are too cute – almost too cute to use! I love the monograms. I wish my sewing machine could do that.

Cute! Now that you’re done with all that, you can sew something for you! 🙂

Gail those are simply adorable! If you aren’t careful you are going to be single handedly responsible for me going out and spending an obscene amount of money to get an embroidery feature for my machine! LOL

I always like to look at your projects! Those fleece throws look so cozy. What a perfect graduation gift!

My goodness, but you’ve been busy! Every single thing is just as gorgeous as can be…but I can definitely see why you’re relieved to have everything done!

So very cute! Do you use polka dotted ribbon or material on the bottoms of those?

Those are all lovely. And don’t pull one of my tricks and procrastinate too long. I always think, later when I complete the task, “well, that wasn’t so bad now was it?”

You really do such beautiful work, Gail! I love the way you match up the colors & patterns! They are so much fun!
