I’m home from Texas…….a long drive, I’m exhausted and pretty much worth nothing at the moment. I so need to regroup today but am going to start with a few pictures from the party! Ava Clair turned four last week and my DIL and son threw her a little backyard carnival party. The birthday girl referred to it as her cotton candy party, because that seemed to be the main attraction!
They had some little backyard games set up for the kids, along with a tent canopy, tables, food, trampoline, etc……
Fishing for froggies
They really seemed to like the bean bag toss
Face painting
They threw water balloons but I missed that part….gave out prizes at each spot and had masks for playing with.
Baby Henry joined in the fun!
Hot dogs, etc for lunch……..the birthday girl!
But everyone loved the cotton candy machine! Later in the evening before returning it to the rental place we all went back out and made it again to enjoy one last time!
This was a big hit too and really cute…..and at a party more sugar is even better. They were very hard to resist. 😆
I must get going around the house and a few other things today that are going on….. more on that later along with even more pics and sewing stuff. And hopefully blog hopping too! I missed being around and hope everyone is doing good.

That looks like fun! I can’t believe how big and grown up they all look, especially Henry 🙂 Ava Clair’s cake is so cute 🙂
Did Trent make the bean bag toss thing, that’s a cute idea, along with the froggie fishing one!
Glad you guys got to go and have fun 🙂

That cake is adorable. How creative and simple. My mom did a wedding cake for my niece and it was 150 cupcakes on a 3 tiered stand. With flowers stuck in among the cupcakes it was quite beautiful, but simple.
