“They give us the greens of summers”
I can think of nothing to post about, so pictures seem to be what I fall back on…but that works most days doesn’t it? I believe I’m avoiding the sewing I so desperately need to finish. Now maybe I can get back to it.
Click through for some random photos I’ve taken recently!
We had fun watching Sam crawl around the house… he has the belly crawl/army crawl down pat! He pulls himself along at lightening speed on his tummy, maybe I should try that and see if it’s good exercise!
When he stops he has this way of throwing his arm back striking such a “laid back I’m checking it all out pose.” I wonder if this is what the world looks like when you’re crawling on the floor, lots of feet & legs?
Katelyn was easy to entertain….we heard the train whistles close by every day so we jumped in the car and chased the train around town so she could see it. She had fun at the park one day, and we blew bubbles in the yard.
She loved that we had worms galore in the flower beds! I still think they’re icky but Don let her play with them.
Jeremy cooked for us 2 nights while they were here! A great treat for me and I think it gave him something to do. He made a mexican feast one night and we ate outside with music, Italian food the other night….all yummy.
Before he went to Alaska, David bought himself a scooter! I have no idea what possessed him to do that when he wouldn’t have use of it for 4 months; and we get the hassle joy of storing it for him. He said it gets up to 80 miles a gallon so maybe I should use it for errands, yeah, I probably won’t be getting on it because I’d hurt myself but Liz said she’s riding it when she gets here! Alas, I think it won’t work at the moment so I’m sure we’ll be the ones to have the hassle joy of getting it fixed. (shhh, I don’t think we’ve told him yet that it won’t crank!)
We’ve also attended law school graduation for Liz’s boyfriend! 3 years of hard work and he’s through…well I think there is that minor detail of the bar exam or something like that.
And Shanna sent me some new pictures yesterday of baby Henry! He’ll be 6 weeks old tomorrow, hard to believe.
I must go get something productive done today! I just realized it’s a long weekend; we’re going out one day and have been invited to a cookout another day.
What do you have planned for the weekend?

I love Sam’s little fat cheeks! I was ewing and awing in here over the pictures and my hubby was like “What’s going on?” I said, “Honey, I’m going to be in here talking to the computer, ok?” I can’t help it with so many sweet babies. I need to be mopping the floor, but…I’m so behind on reading blogs. We may go see my niece play softball this weekend. And it may be hot enough to let Scamp play with her slip-n-slide some more.

Gail, the photos are beautiful. I can’t believe that baby Sam is old enough to be crawling! It seems like just yesterday you were announcing his birth. WOW! They really do grow so fast don’t they 🙂 He’s precious!
Love ya!
