Saturday morning before we left Houston we went to Grayson’s t-ball game. I’d forgotten how much fun a t-ball game can be! Everyone gets to bat, everyone gets to play in the field and sometimes 6 of them all go after a ball that’s been hit! It’s a great time for learning all about the game. I thought they all looked pretty organized and the coaches had done a good job with the kids. They all lined up afterwards to congratulate each other. Grayson had practice one day while I was there and they learn verses each week for practice so I helped him with that. They each got stars after the game too, for learning verses and for other things related to the game….good sportsmanship, good offense, etc. They’ll have a good supply of stars ironed onto their little shirts when the season is over! I couldn’t get by without sharing pictures you know! Click below to see those. 😆
Concentrating on hitting that ball!
Grayson with his daddy….his daddy is my firstborn! (lots of people tell us he’s looking more and more like my hubby)
We had to get hugs, holds and kisses in before leaving
We traveled for about 12 hours Saturday; made a detour to pick up Don’s truck & had supper with Stacy and Tim. We were both pretty tired when we got in and Sunday is not usually restful for us, too much going on! I was pretty worthless yesterday but am trying to regroup, get groceries and get back into a routine today. And hopefully will pop by to see lots of you later.

Girlfriend….you are as busy as me….sounds fun though. And I just love the fact you and Stacy are so close. I have been gone from blogging a couple of days and am trying to play catch up.
Your grandchildren are so sweet.

So cute! I just think little boys look so adorable in their baseball outfits!

Oh. My Goodness. It doesn’t get much more adorable than that. I love little boys and baseball. My boys’ seasons will be starting up soon, (of course I would like it to stop with the snow showers, already!) and I can’t wait to see my son in his catchers gear!
How wonderful you were able to share in the fun with your grandson. I hope when we have grandchildren, we can be as supportive and involved.
Hope you are feeling more settled in at home and can get something accomplished!
Thanks for visiting!

Great pictures! I would love to see Grayson or our nephew on Tim’s side, Ethan, playing t-ball, both are starting this year and we hear they are having so much fun 🙂 Love to see him running the bases. And of course Trent looks like Don – all of your kids look a lot like both of you! Especially the boys like their dad 🙂 I see a lot of Trent in Grayson, except for the blonde hair and those gorgeous blue eyes!
Hope you get settled back in, get groceries, etc. Have a good day!

THose games are so fun! What great pictures! My little 5 year old nephew is playing coach-pitch. They all get so excited when someone hits the ball. What a great idea about the stars. I’ve never heard of anyone doing that around here.

I love the photos, but I sure don’t miss hanging around the ball field…

Oh my goodness, those t-ball pics are so adorable! Watching the little ones play sports is just so fun, isn’t it? I mean, I still love watching Annie play soccer, of course, but there’s just something so incredibly sweet about watching the really little ones. Glad you all had so much fun! I’m sure it was hard to leave!
