I’ve been having fun this past week being in Houston seeing new baby Henry and helping out just a bit. I’m not sure I was very much help but I’ve sure enjoyed being here. We did just a bit of cooking, I finished up sewing some burp cloths and mostly played with the kids. I took Grayson and Ava Clair to the park every day so maybe that was a good diversion for them. Click through to see some pictures of our week!
The baby has been really good so far, just eating and doing lots of sleeping…..I think he’s only cried some when he’s getting his diaper changed. Oh and kind of a fun thing for my family, he has my maiden name for his middle name!
We made bar cookies one day for an activity, with chocolate on top yum!
The park ended up being a big hit
Hubby flew in a couple of days ago so he could see the baby too.
They’re all doing great; a sweet family with loving parents and happy, healthy kids…what more can you ask for!
You know what I forget about when I haven’t been around a baby in a while? They make the sweetest little baby sounds, especially while eating. I’m gonna miss that and sweet baby smells! And I’ll miss them all when I’m back home.

Everyone looks very happy and healthy indeed. Congrats again to you all. I am so glad you are able to help out like this. I bet your daughter in law is so grateful. I know I would be … was … when I had my children.

Great pictures, I would have loved to go to the park every day. And blow bubbles. And read books. And color with crayons. Sounds fun!!!

I love baby sounds! What a beautiful little baby that Henry is. And the other two are just adorable playing on the playground. Sure brings back memories of many happy hours spent at the playgrounds.

Your hubby looks just like a big kid. Such a cute cute photo of the four of them. Then again – you are the world’s most beautiful family 🙂

Oh Gail, how precious! I want to commend you for being a grandmother/momma that is fully vested in your kids lives. I long for a mom like that and grandma like that for my kiddos. My father in love is like you, very hands on, loves to get down and play with “his kids” and love on them, and he sits and talks with them and is genuinely interested in what they have to say….your grandbabies are truly blessed to have a grandma like you!
I love the pictures, and I bet they all enjoyed those bar cookies! You’ll have to share the recipe 🙂
Blessings, dear sister!

Beautiful pictures. Such a happy time for your family. I agree, what a godsend for your daughter to have Grandma there to help with the older two.

This time of year is so much fun. We took Scamp to the park today, and she made a couple of friends playing. I do miss her tiny baby sounds. I think I videoed her sleeping some when she was that small so that we could remember. All the grandkids are so beautiful!!
