I guess I just thought I was back when I posted that the other day! I intended to blog this week since we were up and running but went out of town on a business trip with hubby, lugged my new laptop along but never did blog…….something in me rebelled at having to pay the hotel to get online every day! So I enjoyed other things and never turned the computer on.
It’s probably too late to show these but I made some cute little happies for the kiddies for Christmas, crayon rolls……………
They turned out pretty cute I thought and I had the most fun doing them! I actually showed them to a few friends here before wrapping and they liked them too, or they’re really sweet friends to me! This is the outside, all rolled up with crayons tucked in.
And all opened up with the crayons
Did something a little more boy looking for Grayson
Easy to do and lots of fun to make!
Back later with more, hopefully pictures of my trip if I can sweet talk Stacy into getting them ready for me!

I love those crayon rolls. I had seen them on the homemade holidays during November but alas .. I have no young ones to make them for. Sigh.

I think they are adorable! I saw the girls on Christmas day but never saw the ones you did for the boys, so I was glad to see the pictures. 🙂
I can try to do more photos for you later, maybe this weekend sometime. Just email them to me!

Those are SOOOO cute! Perfect for keeping crayons where they’re supposed to be during car trips. If I had kids…I’d want one!

I can’t believe how cute these crayon rolls you made are!!! I have never seen anything like them…and oh, how I wish I could do things like this because my girls would love them! Adorable- and so practical, too, for taking along somewhere!

Missed you this week but glad you were off doing something fun and not just “down” again. Your crayon rolls are absolutely adorable. Where did you get the pattern for them? I love your fabric colors and trim choices-you have an eye for color, I think. 🙂

My goodness, but you were a busy girl, weren’t you? Clothes, and blankets, and burp cloths, and now crayon rolls…whew. They are sooooo cool! I’ll bet the kiddos absolutely loved them, didn’t they?

Very good. I think you might have yourself an online business you can capture. Go for it!!

Those are adorable, Gail! The inside actually reminds me of the pockets my mom put on a child’s art apron….it had those small pockets just for crayons or markers like yours does.

These are lovely! I have seen tutorials for these but haven’t tried them yet. You’ve inspired me to do so!
