I’m being totally self indulgent today and posting a bunch of pictures. I took well over a hundred last week when I was visiting Kathryn and her family in Charlotte but don’t worry, I’m not putting that many up! I enjoyed my time there just hanging out with them, shopping a bit and playing with Katelyn.

Katelyn had a hurt place on her foot and she wanted to show it to you all the time but she had also learned to kiss it herself.
She has a favorite spot in their den, in between the end of a couch and the step and for some reason she likes to wedge herself in there and just sit!
Their kitchen, breakfast room and den area are all open to each other with that step down into the living area. If Kathryn goes into the kitchen to cook or clean up Katelyn doesn’t want to be in the den even though she can see her mama. She wants to be right under foot or hanging onto her leg! So they’ve let her have a cabinet with some cooking things so she can play in the kitchen….she loves to drag all these things out!
Jeremy is a musician and I thought at one time he wouldn’t let her in his stuff but maybe with supervision…..

Kathryn and Katelyn (Kat will be mad at me for putting this up but I’m probably fairly safe because I don’t think she ever looks at my blog! She’s almost 6 months pregnant here and I think she looks good!)

Kathryn takes her to the neighborhood pool almost every single day.
They swim late in the day and they told me they use 45 sunscreen on her all the time! She’s so brown though and she certainly didn’t get that from me or most of our family, we are very white and only burn! She might be mad at me for this picture one day but it showed off her little brown lines the best!
It was a fun trip!

I think Katelyn may be on to something with her little hiding place. I need to find somewhere like that to get away from my kids — where no one else can get in!
There’s nothing like a sun-browned baby:) They look as sweet as berries:)

Wow! She is quite brown isn’t she? Of course, I’m a big fan of playing in the kitchen. I feel like that’s what I still do!

She is adorable…and what a dark tan! lol I love the spot by the stairs, where she likes to sit. Just wait..one day that may be her reading nook! 🙂 Have a great 4th!

These are all great! She’s such a cutie pie. Love all of them, and Kathryn does look great. She always does though 🙂 I can’t believe Jeremy let her into his music stuff, that’s a surprise! She’s so brown, must get that from her daddy’s genes 🙂

How fun! Great pictures. She is such a cutie. My little man likes to drag out the pots and pans too. Oh and I love her tan! 😉 Your daughter is so pretty! She looks fabulous! I mean really, I am not pregnant and I don’t look as thin as she does! LOL!

Absolutely adorable! The guitar thing cracked me up – isn’t it amazing that little girls can melt a heart enough to allow access to those “off limits” items!

She just gets cuter. I love the one where she is wedged between the couch and steps. Weird that she likes to sit there.
