I meant to include this picture with my menu plan but totally forgot about it! Stacy and I went to the farmer’s market on Saturday, a first for us I think. And we both bought things to use this week…..she pictured hers a day or so ago and you can see it here. She had a picture of the outside of the market and I took a shot of my stuff when I got home! So I’m incorporating some of these things into our meals/breakfasts this week.
Blueberries, they were $2! So I had to have 2 and might freeze some…..sweet onion, bell peppers, cantaloupe, tomato (yum) and a jar of honey, which might take me forever to use.
It was a fun excursion!

Good photo! I am trying to work mine into my menu too and hopefully we can eat it all soon. If you have *any* trouble with that honey, I’m sure Tim will be glad to help out. He’s already into ours and almost 1/4 of it is gone 🙂

I’mso glad you got to go! I always enjoy my trips. I’ve already sent 7 things of blueberries to my parents in TN b/c when it was so cold at Easter they had a frost; thus, they will have NO blueberries this year. Hopefully there will still be some when she comes here July 21. I actually got a gallon last time I went and have 4 or 5 bags in my freezer. LOVE blueberries!

Fresh produce is the best. I miss my Gramp’s garden. I never had a store-bought veggies or fruit my whole childhood! I was so spoiled.

Mmmm…that looks so yummy and refreshing! Hubby and kids go bonkers over blueberries! They’ll literally eat 2-3 pints each and every day during peak season when they’re cheap. And I buy oodles and oodles to freeze.
