This is going to be another one of those weeks where our meals might not happen as planned………Vacation Bible School starts for me today and I’ll be busy with a very long week! Also hubby has some work to do that might take him away at meal time and I usually don’t want to cook for just me so. Here’s what I’m kinda, sorta, maybe planning, and hope it comes together! Be sure to visit our hostess Laura for more menu ideas this week.
Salmon and veggies on the grill
Crockpot deer steak, sweet potatoes, sesame green beans
Crockpot meat loaf, corn……I saved this recipe when Annie posted it a few weeks ago, you can the meatloaf recipe in this post.
Slow Cooker Thai Chicken, orzo and some kind of veggie to go with it
Leftovers!
Salmon melts, green salad, fruit
I planned a lot of crockpot things since I’ll be so busy at church……if hubby is gone I can eat leftovers just fine!
Not trying to put these with a certain day right now because it’s just too much effort at the moment with not knowing his work schedule for sure.
Happy Monday!

That Thai chicken recipe looks really good and that crock pot is a life saver, isn’t it? Have fun with VBS – I’ve got until mid-July to gear up for ours!

If you get to that meat loaf, let me know how you like it. Are you making it with ground deer meat, ground beef or ground turkey?
That Thai Chicken is one of my favorites. I haven’t had it in a while; need to do it soon. I always do whole wheat spaghetti to go with it and we like it like that.
Hope VBS goes well 🙂 Have a good week!

I’m making the meatloaf again too. I add salt in the mixture, but we are salt people 🙂
Your menu looks delicious.
Happy Monday!

Great menu this week. I’ve never made a meatloaf in the crock pot but Annie may have convinced me. She seems to really enjoy it.

Gail…go look at my menu. I have a picture of the Thai chicken. I had it Saturday night! I stir fried those veggies with a little vegetable oil and some Tamari soy sauce and garlic. They were DELICIOUS!

Oh I actually hopped in my seat a little at the thought of the crockpot thai chicken. Oh yum o!
Sesame green beans sound really good too! They are one of my fav veggies, I should find some new ways to prepare them!

Everything sounds great. Yes, it was your shrimp and wild rice casserole that I did for the freezer. I’ll let you know how it turns out. I put it in a vacuum sealed bag, so I just need to plop the whole thing in boiling water to reheat. It should be perfect!
