I have the internet blues today; haven’t been able to get connected much today and if I do, it’s sporadic and very s.l.o.w! I hope to get around and visit your blogs to comment and all that fun stuff but it might take a while. Our provider (high speed from our cable company) has an 800 number, so you never know where in the world you might be calling but I haven’t had much luck getting through to them. So hubby called the local cable/tech guy directly, he kindly left us his cell phone last time he was here and told us to call anytime, so we did. Said he’d be here at 1, it’s now close to 5 and I still haven’t seen him! I finally reached the 800 #, after pressing zero about 91 times in a row, got transferred around to different people and got told something different each time. This seems to be the normal routine but I still don’t like it……D asked again today if I wanted to change to bellsouth and some days I think it just might be better than this high tech cable service that is supposed to be so good!

We hated our cable connection. We switched to DSL and haven’t had a single problem. LOVE IT!!! I hope that things speed up for you soon 🙂

Well, switch and tell me if it’s better. Tim is wanting to switch too, he’s unhappy with our cable. But we don’t lose our connection nearly as often as you do. You really must have faulty wiring somewhere. Bummer.

Hope they showed up and you’re back up 🙂

We have cable and have had no real problems. Keeping my fingers crossed because our cable company just changed. But in our last house, our cable sucked big time (another cable company there). We tried DSL from Bell South but couldn’t get it to work. They said it had something to do with the type of phones we were using. Gave up on that after a couple of days and a bunch of new phones that I had to buy and return.

I hate not having the internet available!

We have Bellsouth and so far it’s not that bad. It’s dial up since we live in the country and to be honest some days it’s just as fast as DSL at the office….somedays but it’s better than what some people I know I have 🙂

Happy Birthday late….so sorry I missed it! I hope you had a great one 🙂

So sorry about the slow dial up. What a pain! I have bellsouth and it has been fast and easy. Good luck.

Sounds like a typical call to our big telecommunication company Telstra in Australia! Hope your connection is fixed soon. 🙂
