I missed doing this last week when I was out of town and it makes dinner time a little harder if I don’t have a plan! We seem to have several functions this week so it looks like I won’t be cooking as much as I normally might……but I’ll probably enjoy the time out!
Be sure to visit Laura’s place for other great menus and organizing ideas. Thanks Laura for hosting this each week.
Sunday……….Crockpot deer steak, salad, veggie
Monday………eating at friends house to watch 24, I’m bringing homemade bread!
Tuesday……..out to eat with Sunday school class
Wednesday…church supper
Thursday…….Baked salmon, couscous, sesame green beans
Friday…………Soup, salad
Sat/Sunday….tbd

I just recently started making sesame green beans. My hubby and I love them but the kids aren’t so crazy about them. I am planning to make them this week as well. Great menu–sounds like a busy week! We have a church supper every Wednesday as well!

Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday sounds like a routine I could fall into very easily! hehe
Have a great week!

I didn’t do a menu last week either and I really missed it! Can I ask, do you have the recipe for the deer steak in the crockpot? We have so much deer meat, I don’t know what to do with it.

Baked salmon looks really good. We are big fish eaters here – but haven’t had Salmon in a while…

I noticed that you have a Nora Robert’s book on your reading list. Have you been able to catch the Lifetime TV special airrings of the Nora Robert’s stories? I missed every one but I’m sure they’ll be on again.

Sounds like a good week, and tonight sounds great! Have fun with J&S watching 24, it’s going to be a great night with 2 hours! Will you take the bread hot out of the oven, yum, that’s when we love it best. 🙂

Um, love the menu! Everything looks so good! I am afraid I am such a spontaneous person that while I keep a mental idea of what I want to make for dinner, I have never had the discipline of writing it down. Maybe it would be fun to try, and then I could see how much easier my life might have been, right! lol

I used to make a weekly menu but stopped when Shelby’s work schedule messed up all our mealtimes. I guess I should start again.
Love the books you’re reading and have up next. I’m sure you’ll enjoy them all.

Looks like a nice simple plan. I like simple plans. Enjoy your week.

I get so out of sorts when I don’t menu plan now that I’ve gotten used to it. I know I spend less on groceries by planning also. I noticed you have a Jan Karon up next to read. I adore her. I just finished ‘Light from Heaven.’ It was so good. She has a new series starting later this year with Father Tim and some of his travels.
Have a great week!
