I spent a lot of time last week on some sewing projects. One of my kids asked me to make some baby things that they could give as gifts to friends that were having babies. So I’ve gotten them all finished, boxed up and mailed off to said child who has received them in the mail. I think they like them! I was happy with the way they turned out; it’s fun making these burp cloths. Hopefully it’s something that is useful as well.
I’ll put the pics on the extended page in case you want to take a look:
These are the ones I did for a baby boy; the sailboat is not a new one for me but I couldn’t remember if I had posted a pic of it already.
Burp cloths for their friend with a baby girl….not sure if the ladybug one will show up good in this shot but it was a new design for me to use. I thought it turned out so cute, I was particularly pleased with it.
Last up for now is this little pillow…..I’ve done several like these over the years. One of my kids had one that was cross stitched and she slept with it for years! All the stitching is gone from hers now and we are thinking about trying to take it apart and remake it and stuff it again. I might be doing some more of these pillows soon for them to give away to others.

Ooh, those are all cute! I love ladybugs (and dragonflies and butterflies), they are so cute. Great pattern and colors.
I think I remember that pillow! So cute, and you should definitely make more. Do G, AC and K all have one?

P.S. I actually know a song title for once. From one of my all time favorites, of course! I can sing every song from that movie and quote lots of dialogue too 🙂
