Stacy & I have talked about these before……… I think she hasn’t made them yet and has asked me some questions about how to make them, if I remember correctly. I made them Sunday morning for the kids; it’s one of their favorite things & I wish David had been here to eat them up since it was his birthday. What are they? They are cinni minni’s, as my kids call them. Nothing fancy and not hard to do, but they taste really good! So, just for Stacy (she is really the only one interested)…. ..here are some pictures!
These are not hard to do, just use crescent rolls. I didn’t get it pictured quite like I wanted but just roll out the dough, put on melted butter if you want (I use a fat free Parkay spray butter….too easy) and then sprinkle on cinnamon & sugar. Roll up and slice, put in whatever pan you want.
I used 2 packages of crescents here and a stoneware pan……all ready for the oven!
After they have baked but before the icing/glaze.
Yep, I put more sugar on them! I do a glaze with powdered sugar & milk, sometimes I use orange juice instead…..it takes more sugar than the milk; just stir it up until it’s smooth and drizzle over. I probably ate some of that spot that had the most icing on it! Four of us ate them Sunday morning & there were leftovers….had some Monday morning and a few are left for Tuesday; so you could use 1 package for fewer people. There you go Stacy!

Yummy, I love these. I’ve made them several times, we like them. I just don’t have a nice stoneware pan and have to use my regular old cheap metal round cake pan from Walmart 🙂
I would make them more often but they are so not good for us – white flour, sugar, etc. Hard to make good tasting stuff with wheat products 🙂 I also have made Shanna’s apple dumplings a couple of times and they are good too – have you made those Gail?

Yep, have made the apple dumplings too, very yummy!
Didn’t realize you had done these, sorry. And any old pan works for these….I just happen to have a stoneware one. If I make a smaller amount I would have to use a different pan. 🙂

Yum, I wish I had some of these this morning! 🙂 Even though I know they aren’t the best for us, they do taste REALLY good. I’m hungry right now and they look so good!
Oh, and the few times I have made them, I’ve always just used powdered sugar and milk, Tim doesn’t like fruity things, so I never use the OJ. But I would probably like them a lot better like that, I love OJ and fruity flavors.

Oh my that looks so good. I’m going to have to try these and hey I see your using your Pampered Chef baking stone. I love PC. I sold it once just so I could by more…
