I was tagged by Annie for this meme, share 7 random and/or weird facts about yourself that you haven’t blogged about before. I’ve done this one several times so not sure this will be anything new and it certainly won’t be interesting but here’s mine!
1. I do NOT like the dark! No dark places, rooms, streets, movies or anything related.
2. I wake up if the lights go off rather than on…..there should be light somewhere, night light or something from another room and if there’s not it wakes me up because it’s too dark.
3. I didn’t have a pet when I was growing up…I didn’t think it was so odd but hubby thinks it warped me somehow…..he told me a goldfish didn’t count!
4. I’ve always eaten peanut butter and banana sandwiches with mayo….I know it makes no sense but that’s the way my mama made them! D just about gagged the first time I made it for him, HIS mama always made them with butter! I never thought it was weird til I figured out I must be the only person to eat them that way.
5. I do NOT like to speak in public or to a group. It scares me, embarrasses me and it would probably cause me to faint dead away.
6. Numbers in boxes make me twitchy. Or subtraction, I still can’t subtract worth a flip….math was so not my subject!
7. I’ve only had my ears pierced about 6 years……yep, I waited entirely too long!
I’m supposed to tag 7 people but I’m rebelling once again and not doing that. So play along if your heart desires and tell me so I can read your list!
Now that I’ve told you how odd I really am, I’m off to hide be busy in my house for a while. We had a fun weekend with some of the kids and I’ll post some pictures later!

You wake up if a light goes out? I’m just the opposite, although I was tired enough the other night to sleep with a light on in the den, which is strange for me 🙂
I love mayo on everything, that is our heritage! These days though, if I eat PB, I just eat it with jelly or banana and no mayo though, a calorie thing.
I like numbers! I have a math and computer science degree, you know! You should see the geeky math app that Tim downloaded for his iPhone. Converts bits, bytes, gigabytes, terabytes, etc. A binary dream 🙂
I bet you guys had a great weekend. Liz is probably tired though, being gone so long and lots of kids to entertain 🙂

Yes, mayo is our heritage Stace! And even though we are alike in most ways, I missed the number gene, I’m dumb when it comes to math and will have to aspire to “being just like you when I grow up” when it comes to that!

Gail, I learned SO much about you!
I don’t like speaking in front of groups, either…I do it once in awhile like at Bible Study or for our home school group book reports that I lead, but even those are out of my comfort zone!
But um…peanut butter, banana, and MAYO? OK…moving on…LOL
Math is not my fav subject either…too bad I have to help teach it for home school! :0

I am SO with you on #s 5 & 6. Hate speaking in public and numbers math makes me nauseous. Can’t remember if I told you, but I love your new blog look!

I cannot even imagine (and won’t imagine) eating peanut butter, bananas and mayo or even pb and bananas or even bananas and mayo or even pb and mayo… you get the point. I love mayo on sandwiches but not with any of those things! Even the butter sounds gross to me!
I love the dark. The darker the better, especially at night.
I love numbers and was a math major for a while until I switched to english. I got my ears pierced when I was 7. I cried so hard after the first one my mother didn’t think she was going to get me to let the lady do the other ear. They put these weird tiger’s eye earrings in and I thought they were ugly. What made you go ahead and get your ears pierced? Did you do it alone? You did a great job, all seven facts were new to me 🙂

I don’t like the dark either but for some reason I can NOT sleep if a light is on.
As for the peanut butter, bananas and MAYO? Ummmm….eeewwwwww LOL
I don’t like speaking in public either, can’t stand it. LOL

I’ve never heard of either mayo or butter on pnut butter and banana sandwiches.
And I like it nice and dark when I’m sleeping. I don’t even like the cell phone charging glow, I’ll cover it with a sock. LOL.

::shudder:: Just thinking about public speaking gives me hives. And at church on Sunday, they were trying to get me to sign up for read the Old Testament & Epistle lessons during a few church services each year. Sure! If you want to be scooping me up off the floor before I ever say a word. =P *That* is not my calling.
