This is the first time I’ve played this meme!
1. Tons of heat and humidity where I live! 2. Tomato Sandwiches with a real home grown tomato, the best. 3. Some nights I like to have just ice cream for supper. 4. Vacations with the family. 5. Busy season for hubby with long hours during the day. 6. Going to the pool. 7. Kids playing in the sprinklers. 8. Mosquitoes…..they are terrible here. 9. I don’t get tan, only burn and peel! 10. Flip-flops and shorts. 11. Nothing but Reruns on TV. 12. Vacation Bible School at church. 13. No school and no early bedtimes! |
The purpose of the meme is to get to know everyone who participates a little bit better every Thursday. Visiting fellow Thirteeners is encouraged! If you participate, leave the link to your Thirteen in others comments. ItΓ’β¬β’s easy, and fun! Be sure to update your Thirteen with links that are left for you, as well! I will link to everyone who participates and leaves a link to their 13 things. Trackbacks, pings, comment links accepted!

Ugh, heat, humidity, mosquitos, and reruns. The main reasons why summer is my least favorite season of the year. (As well as the fact that it is hurricane season!!) At least it has some redeeming qualities.
June 22nd, 2006 at 12:32 pm

Are you in the Southeast? It sounds like you live in Charleston where I’m at – the humidity and bugs – ugh!

I’m with you on the tan. I never, ever tan. Just burn, peel and white again. The only tan I’ve ever had came from a bottle.
